Baseline League Meet #1 10/1/08
Another fantastic start for the boys team and the girls team. While Upland did not have the top finisher in either varsity
race, Upland Boys and Girls won their Team events. Results
Woodbridge Invite 9/20/08
From Coach Wilson… We were very proud of this team last Saturday night. The Upland runners conducted themselves
with class and courage. “Athletes of the Meet” go to our Novice Girls Team with the win as a team. Our Varsity Girls
finished 5th in the race with 9 girls now under 7 minute mile pace. Lauren is on her come-back in leading our JV Race.
Soph Girls were great lead by Amber. Thanks Ladies.
The UHS CC guys showed solid improvement over the last 2 weeks. Frosh Beau, Adam and Kyle each went faster this
week. Kevin lead the soph guys with a big PR and the juniors’ team improved greatly over the last year at this meet.
The Sweeps team finished 9th while being lead by Michael and Albert. It was great experience for Alex, JP and the rest
of the team. Results....
